Pacific Exchange 2019 continues to bring composers and performers from diverse areas of the Pacific Rim together to exchange ideas and create music on a shared concert stage. Co-presented with the San Francisco International Arts Festival, this year’s performances will feature traditional Korean works by Yun Kyong Jin and Soo Yeon Lyn, as well as the world premiere of “Self_Less” , a new musical work by Edward Schocker and The Crossing Ensemble that examines the question of ‘what is the self?’ from a cultural, spiritual, and social perspective.
